Board of Governors

The Student Unions & Activities Board of Governors shapes policy, determines the Union budget and guides programs for one of the largest student unions in the country. Instrumental in the funding of Coffman Union in the 1930s, the Board of Governors began as a group of concerned students who wanted to create world-class environments for students and the campus community to congregate outside of class. Through the Board's leadership, the student unions adapted to the changing needs of the campus community throughout the years by adding services, lobbying successfully for renovations and increasing hours of operation.

Our offices are located in 131 Coffman in Minneapolis and Rm 42 in the St. Paul Student Center.
